The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale excites us every year because, not only is it an homage to the iconic department store that has maintained its status as a premier place to shop but it’s also an opportunity to save big on waitlist-inducing items from top brands.
Even better, the retailer has a high-profile roster of SKUs made perfect for all of the parents and caregivers who are shopping for their babies, toddlers and children — and Nordstrom exclusively shared the 411 on what deals to expect during its Anniversary Sale, starting as early as July 3 for some shoppers, to have a sneak peek of all merchandise on sale.
“Every year, the Anniversary Sale offers exclusive deals from the top brands for kids across every category including clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as baby gear,” Tacey Powers, Nordstrom executive vice president and general merchandise manager for shoes and kids apparel, tipped off to the New York Post. “The Anniversary Sale is a great time to save on big ticket baby gear items with great savings on stroller sets from Doon and Uppababy, car seats from Nuna and high chairs from Maxi-Cosi.”
For reference, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicks off officially on July 16 and spans until August 6, while Nordy Club members can shop Early Access beginning July 13 or earlier, depending on their status. And yes, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still happening.
Ahead, we outlined our favorite 15 items and their exact on-sale prices, provided only to The Post by Nordstrom directly. More, you’ll want to save big on some already live baby and kids’ deals to add to your online shopping cart while you wait. Plus, shop our curated edit of the best Nordstrom gifts.
Splurge on the Nuna PIPA urbn + TRVL Stroller & Car Seat Travel System for $225 off (in other words, run). This duo has to be the hallmark of the Anniversary Sale (at least in our books), so you’ll want to add this to your Nordstrom wishlist stat to reap the benefits. Its sleek luxury make and innovative safety features makes this well-endorsed by a boatload of shoppers, too ((spoiler alert: we reviewed it with our nieces).
We can’t stop glossing over the UGG Kids’ Classic II Genuine Shearling Lined Boot. It’s available in a sea of colors once the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale hits, per the retailer, and can be grabbed for less than $100. With its classic design, what’s not to love?
Real talk — every parent and caregiver we know raves about travel joggers (they may be a splurge, but think about it: you’ll be using it 24/7). The Baby Jogger City Sights Collection Stroller Bundle is on sale for more than $100 off during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, complete with a UV 50+ canopy with mesh window, adjustable vegan leather handlebar, large storage basket and more.
The Save the Duck Kids’ Donny Jacket is just shy of $100 during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, featured in its traditional puffer exterior that’s both breathable and warm. Nordstrom has always been a front-runner in our guide to the best kids’ winter coats, so we anticipate this style selling out quickly.
For seamless feeding, you’ll want to take full advantage of this near-$70-off offer on the Max-Cosi Minla 6-in-1 High Chair. With five recline positions, four tray positions and eight different height settings (along with its pleasing match-all style), your baby will be both comfortable and well-fed, thanks to this seater.
We love a good bib and tray bundle and, luckily, Nordstrom has the cutest Kids’ Bapron + Indigo Mat from EZPZ on sale. For nearly 50% off, grab this practical baby item that’s recommended for ages 6 months and up. The mat’s three-sectioned design makes it easy to separate food, too.
We couldn’t resist — the Pippa & Julie Mesh Sleeve Tutu Dress is simply too adorable to pass up during the Anniversary Sale (and, for almost 50% off, we’re ready to buy it in one add-to-cart motion). Its precious swiss-dot design, breezy mesh material and flared skirt all add to this style’s cherry-on-top pizzazz.
The Tucker & Tate Jean Jacket is now less than $50 and is great for a range of temps year-round. Combining the coveted softness of a feel-good hoodie with classic denim accents, it’s the perfect throw-on outerwear piece your child will adore.
When we see a pair of children’s adidas, we must rave about it. So is the case with the brand’s Swift Run Sneaker, now less than $50 during the Anniversary Sale. Its tried-and-true navy and white colorway and comfortable fit (most importantly) is enough to justify the pick-me-up.
Invest in a wagon this Anniversary Sale, especially now that the WonderFold W4 Wagon Bonus Set is expected to be on a $300-off discount soon. Not only is it perfect for park trips and strolls around the block but its all-terrain wheels are the perfect, quality touch we always look for.
It’s not too late to pick up an adorable baby swimsuit that offers UPF protection. How could you not want the RuffleButts Snow Cone Long-Sleeve One-Piece Rashguard Swimsuit & Hat Set? It screams “beach trip” and we can just picture all of the sun- and sand-speckled photoshoots that’ll make their way onto Instagram with this head-to-toe outfit.
Shop the New Balance Kids’ 574 Shoes — a comfortable, timeless style from one of the most trusted brands on the market. Namely, the shoes will be nearly $20 off in honor of the Anniversary Sale and ready for your little one to sport them in full stride.
The Herschel Supply Co. Little America Backpack not only functions as your typical commuter carry-all but, as versatile as could be, doubles as a stylish diaper backpack (which comes in handy if you’re not into the whole diaper bag thing). For more than $30 off, we recommend it.
The Nordstrom Print Zip Footie will ensure your baby is comfortable when napping or sleeping (plus, for just $16, it’s the easiest add-to-cart, on-sale purchase you’ll make). More, the design is absolutely adorable. It’s available in newborn sizing to 9 months as well.
Meet one of our favorite Nordstrom items: the retailer’s Hooded Bunting. Now for just $30, its plush diamond quilting coupled with its fold-over hand mitts are a nice touch. Oh, and its snap-up front makes changing ten times easier (and we can’t ignore the adorable bear ears).
